Optronics introduces submersible modular LED fishing lights
The Optronics Modular LED Fish-N-Lite takes fish-attracting green illumination to new levels, literally.

The patent-pending UW-700L Fish-N-Lite comes with two tubular-shaped modules: a power module and an extension module. Each module features eight ultra-bright green LEDs, four on each end, and a fluted reflector in the middle. The reflector innovatively dispenses green light in all directions.

The power module has a 20-foot power cord that works with any 12-volt battery, affording simple and portable operation from dock or boat. It can be used alone or with one or more extension modules attached. The modules have threaded ends for easy addition or removal to the stackable light system to adjust fishing illumination as needs or depths vary. The ease of disassembly and the streamlined shape of the modules make carrying and storing easy too.

A threaded endcap with eyelet fits on the bottom module so a weight can be attached to submerge the light. The UW-700L Fish-N-Lite, with the power module and one attachment module, retails for around $49.99. Add-on modules are available in a convenient 2-pack, model UW-702M, selling for about $39.99 per package. Fish-N-Lites are sold at leading sporting goods stores and through mail-order catalogs.

Optronics also introduces a smaller, three AAA battery version of the Fish-N-Lite, model LED-100G. The take-and-use anywhere LED-100G uses six green LEDs to provide light output comparable to fluorescent and halogen models of the same size, yet consumes less power.  The light’s fluted reflector multiplies illumination, sending it out at every angle to attract baitfish and game fish from far away.

Compact and portable as it is, the Fish-N-Lite LED-100G is perfect for mobile anglers who don’t want to be tied down by a power cord and 12-volt battery. The LED-100G is on the market now and retails for around $32.99.
